A BIT ABOUT GARRY MANN
Garry’s passion for food was developed at an early age growing up in country South Australia amongst third and fourth generation farmers.
Home gardens provided fresh seasonal vegetables and fruit supplemented by commercial orchards nearby.
With the Spencer Gulf not to far away many fishing trips were organized and fish was regularly on the menu.

Garry’s main inspirations were his mother, who was more of an experimental cook trying out new products and an aunt who was the traditional cook - her roast pigeons were sensational.
Another aunt made the best Honey Biscuits in the world.

Upon leaving home to work in Adelaide, Garry was fascinated by the Central Market which became his regular Saturday morning activity, strolling, talking, tasting...
Some of his best footy was played on a lunch of kalamata olives and an oil roll.
